Weekly Dance Opportunities

Our club members meet informally at various places around town to dance WCS and other dances. Currently, we are going to:

Wednesday Nights - Cowboys from 8:00 until 11:30. Our own guest DJ Frank Randall plays west coast swing, hustle, cha-cha, country, etc– they have a nice big floor, we have a nice mix of dancers, and it’s never too crowded. No cover charge. Located at 9800 Montgomery Blvd N E;
SE Corner of Eubank & Montgomery (505) 299-4559.

Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday Nights - Sandia Casino: Tlur-Pa Lounge. Sandia Casino brings in live bands on a weekly basis to their lounge, most are good or very good for West Coast Swing. SSNM dancers meet informally on Tues, Thurs, Sun, to socialize and dance. There is no cover charge, but a two-drink minimum and generous tipping is encouraged. Located on the north side of Tramway; exit I-25 at Tramway, turn east at stop sign, drive up the hill and turn into their parking lot by making a left at the first stop light. You can't miss it! 1-800-526-9366. Tuesday and Thursday, dancers tend to show up from 8:30 PM to Midnight; on Sunday, 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM . Look for people doing dances you recognize and come introduce yourself!:-)

These outings are subject to change. The venue occasionally schedule other events, or we schedule alternative plans. Sometimes we do not meet at Sandia Casino on Sundays if the band they have scheduled does not play music appropriate for WCS.
